The Maestro Fuzz-Tone I used on this recording was slowly crapping out, which resulted in some odd variances in fuzzosity and the occasional British cooking show broadcast coming through the amp should I dare to not keep the guitar neck facing south at all times.
Aside from their awesome name, I've got to recommend them due to their spartan and wise-beyond-their-years approach to songcraft. What a pleasant surprise! Def for fans of Flying Nun and Go-Betweens. Edward Gray
